HIV Edmonton Community Based Research Project
HIV Edmonton is seeking men to help us review a Community Based Research Survey.
We are undertaking a Community Based Research Project to assess the sexual attitudes, practices, and health knowledge of men who have sex with men (MSM) in Edmonton. The project will also seek to determine the barriers that MSM face when accessing sexual health services.
The involvement consists of attending one meeting. The dates and location are as follows:
Meeting Times (You have a choice between two dates)

Exposure Festival Presents: Queerly I am Nothing New Salon
This diverse and independent, multi-disciplinary performance event explores the idea that queerness has always been around and features performances from Althea Cunningham, Hiromi Goto, Vivek Shraya, DerekWarwick, and a troupe working with international artist and facilitator Valerie Mason-John (a.k.a. Queenie). Hosted by Laurie MacFayden and Joshua Carter. Join us after the show at LEVA for a reception 10 p.m. to midnight.

Sex, Drugs and Rock'n'Roll: Friday November 13, 4-7 PM:
Come join us at the Pride Centre as we, in collaboration with Exposure Festival, put together some awesome activities & presentations about sex & drugs … and of course, jam out with a local rock band or two!
Cooking Club: Thursday, November 26, 4 PM:
Learn easy and fun new recipes each month.
Every Wednesday, come and enjoy DIY (do-it-yourself) activities. Bring your own supplies, or puruse our Re-Use Centre goodies and craft something cute into creation.
Every Thursday is Games Day! Yatzee, Uno, Taboo, oh my! A little friendly competition never hurt anybody.
Every Friday is Movie Night! Queer themed movie starts at 6:30.
Every Saturday is Youth Understanding Youth at 7PM. "Youth Understanding Youth is a self-supporting youth group, facilitated by a team of volunteer professionals from the community, that strives to create a safe environment in which youth can explore and express their interests and needs in an atmosphere where they are supported and respected for their contributions and unique individual differences."
