Hints for Fiscal Year End
The University's fiscal year ends March 31. What does that mean to project holders and administrators? Research projects can have special issues that need to be addressed in February and March. These include extensions and/or renewals, accruals, and billings. A new section on the RSO website has all the information you need in one place.

eTRAC update
Training and Access
Starting March 1, access for researchers will begin
rolling out by department. Research Facilitation Offices (RFOs) will be offering training sessions to researchers. Researchers can contact their RFO to find out when sessions are planned.
Reports
Two new revenue reports will be made available beginning March 1: "Revenue Summary " and "Revenue Details."
The "Revenue Summary" is an overall picture of the revenue in each project.
The "Revenue Details" report is more like what you might have seen in RGR Online. It shows a complete list of all transactions posted to a project for the requested period.
Further enhancements to services and printed reports based on feedback from testing are expected to be implemented by April 1.
Visit the eTRAC login and support area of the RSO website.

RSO Forms update
Several RSO forms are under review and are in the process of being re-designed.
As new forms get approved for use, they will be posted to the forms section of the RSO website. Please be sure to use current forms—always download the latest version from the RSO website, rather than saving a version to your computer for re-use. RSO is working hard to make our forms easier to use, and we appreciate your patience while we do this.
If you're unsure what form to use, contact your Research Facilitator for assistance.
Feedback regarding form design can be directed to info@rso.ualberta.ca.
Visit the forms section of the RSO website.
